After winning its first two games by a total of just five points, the Whitnall boys basketball team has won its next two by a combined 57 points. The latest was a 51-26 victory over South Milwaukee.

In a battle of two teams fighting for their playoff lives, South Milwaukee rode two quick scores in the first half and wore down Whitnall in the Woodland Conference, clinching a playoff berth in the process.
