Time to think about planting that garden and getting your yard in order.  Check out the library's collection on gardening.  A sampling of the books in the collection are:  Best Trees for Your Garden by Allen Paterson.  This book gives practical advice for selecting and purchasing trees.  The book also has proven tips and techniques for placing, planting and  maintaining garden trees

Other books on gardening are:  The Wisconsin Garden Guide by Jerry Minnich  This book is one of the most dependable guides to gardening in Wisconsin's challenging climate.  For the organic gardener Rodale's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Organic gardening :  the complete guide to natural & Chemical-free gardening is considered the definitive guide to gardening the natural way.  The book explains key organic principles, has practical information on soil preparation, plant sowing, propagating and harvesting.  Another excellent gardening book is  The Victory Garden Companion by Michael Weishan.   This book offers advice for creating a beautiful landscape for your home.  Annuals for Dummies offers down to earth advice on growing healthy flowers as well as where and when to plant annuals for the brightest blast of color.

The Library will be closed on Friday, April 2nd.  We will reopen on Saturday, April 3  from 9 am to 4 pm.

The Friends will be having their spring book sale on Saturday, April 10th from 9:30 am to 3 pm.  Great bargains!
